Albums of the year: #26

I do have a memory longer than two weeks, but here is another album I reviewed in the last few days. 1938 may not have been as tightly edited as it could have been, but it was still a remarkably good record. I can’t think of any other bands who have returned with a collection so strong and relevant after more than a decade and a half away (except maybe Van Der Graaf Generator). Hopefully this is just the beginning of a second phase for the band and will see them garner wider recognition.
