Pulp fiction

As well as writing this here blog, I spend some of my time volunteering at the Oxfam Bookshop in the West End of Glasgow. Recently we had several box loads of fifties and sixties paperbacks come in. Many of them were crime pulps with lurid covers of chisel-jawed men with hats and guns and glowering femme fatales. Quite a number of the books were too tatty to be able to sell and only fit for the bin, but I rescued some covers. And here they are.
